Julie Van Onselen
Director, Educator and Clinical Adviser
Julie is a educator and clinical adviser 25 years experience in dermatology, who is involved in many UK dermatology initiatives and a national key opinion leader. Julie is also a health care writer, with a special interest in writing for patients and primary care health professionals; she publishes widely in professional and health care journals; and is past editor of Dermatological Nursing. She is also special adviser to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Skin and steering committee member of the Psoriasis Setting Priorities Partnership project, in 2018. Julie is passionate about improving care and support for people with skin conditions through developing educational initiatives for both healthcare professionals and patients.
Dr Penny Gray
Penny is a healthcare writer, editor and researcher with over 25 years’ experience covering a broad range of specialities and general health issues. She has written and edited numerous articles, brochures, factsheets, journals, newsletters, press releases, reports, slide kits, congress and marketing materials and website copy, for which the target audiences have included healthcare and industry professionals and the public. Penny has expertise across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including dermatology, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, endocrinology (growth disorders) and mental health – and recent experience working on anaesthesia, infectious diseases, hepatitis, musculoskeletal ageing, orphan diseases and urology. Patient-centricity is a long-standing interest and recent focus.
