    Courses for pharmaceutical employees are ideal for initial training courses and account management on-going training in the pharmaceutical and device industries.

    • Provide dermatology training around company objectives and customer service needs
    • Improve customer relationships with dermatology professionals and providers

All trainers are dermatology health care professionals: Dermatology Consultants, General Practitioners with an extended role in dermatology (GPERs), specialist dermatology nurses and pharmacists. People with lived experiences of skin conditions will also be involved in ‘meet the patient’ sessions.

I really enjoyed the day and learnt so much from it. Already we’ve been able to have more knowledge and confidence during triaging the pupils and giving the appropriate guidance or recommendations.

Getting to Grips with Dermoscopy – Part 1 – The Benign Lesions (BBO Training)

Thursday 18 November 2021 - F2F TBC (The Lambert Hotel, junction 6, M40)

A basic introduction to dermoscopy in general practice, how to use a dermatoscope, interpreting dermatoscopic features, recognition of benign lesions and recording and transferring images. Part 1 can be a stand-alone course or combined with part 2.

Getting to Grips with Dermoscopy – Part 2 – The Malignant Lesions (BBO Training)

Thursday 9 December 2021 - F2F TBC (The Lambert Hotel, junction 6, M40)
A basic introduction to dermoscopy in general practice continues and looks at recognition on pre-malignant and malignant lesions, improving dermatoscopic technique and image transfer. Pre-requisite for day 2 is completion of day 1 or other beginner dermoscopy training course.

Fundamentals of Dermatology in Primary Care: 2-day course (BBO Training)
Thursday 30 September and Thursday 14 October 2021 - VIRTUAL

This is a 2-day introduction to dermatology for general practice. Day 1 focuses on fundamental skin assessment and skin lesion recognition. Day 2 focuses on fundamental skin treatment for acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, skin infections; and patient education and support, focusing on self-management.

Dermatology Update (BBO Training)Thursday 21 October 2021 - VIRTUAL

This is a dermatology update for general practice, for health care professionals who are experienced in dermatology. The course is an update on evidence-based best practice for common skin conditions and lesion recognition.
